And now the Irish hero will have to do it all over again in front of a packed AT&T stadium.
The champ will have the momentum after avenging her May 2023 loss against Chantelle Cameron with a stunning win in the rematch later on that year.

When reports surfaced surrounding the fight purse for Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano 2, the Puerto Rican fighter took to X (formally Twitter) to reply to the rumours.

She cheekily quoted an X post about the reports saying: “Mine is bigger lol.”
Taylor could be in for an even bigger payday after making an outrageous bet with Jake Paul after she was challenged to “put your money where your mouth is.”
Taylor backed Tyson in the main event and said: “You can never bet against a legend.”
The comments seemed to annoy Jake Paul who then said: “When I see dumb people saying dumb predictions, I just feel bad for them.”
Paul walked around all the boxers on stage at the press conference and challenged them with his money comment.
Paul turned to Taylor, saying: “Oh wait, I forgot Katie Taylor back here.”
After he asked her “how much do you want to bet?” she repeated the question back to him, with Paul replying “as much as you want. I’m not losing, no shot in hell.”
Taylor then suggested they “bet your purse” with Paul – who will earn a staggering $40m (£31m) from the fight – agreeing to the terms before declaring: “I’m sending out contracts, too!”
