THE Netherlands had to call off their press conference ahead of Wednesday’s clash with England – for the most surprising reason.
Ronald Koeman and his squad faced huge delays arriving due to a train blockage between Wolfsburg and their Dortmund destination.
Little more than 24 hours later the Dutch will be taking on Gareth Southgate’s men for a place in Sunday’s final.
It’s England’s SEVENTH semi in a major tournament as they look to better reaching the final at Euro 2020.
And boss Southgate could well bow out after the tournament – whatever happens.
