Jude Bellingham scores England’s first goal of Euro 2024 before Harry Kane has even touched the ball

ENGLAND took the lead against Serbia BEFORE Harry Kane touched the ball.

The Three Lions’ record scorer has often been the man to fire his country to victory.

But England have another goalscoring sensation in their camp at Euro 2024.

Bukayo Saka raced down the right wing and his deflected cross sat up perfectly for Jude Bellingham to steam in and meet it with his head.

The Real Madrid phenom was on target after just 13 minutes as Gareth Southgate’s men started their campaign with a 1-0 win.

And the Three Lions chief will be delighted to have somebody to take some of the burden off Kane’s shoulders.

One fan commented: “Just hand us the trophy now, c,mon England.”

Another added: “Who else but Jude Bellingham? This is the face of England.”

Bellingham, 20, has taken centre stage in adidas’ new Euro 2024 advert.

The two-minute video features The Beatles’ timeless hit Hey Jude and showcases a number of notable faces including rapper Stormzy and presenter Laura Woods.

A number of former Three Lions stars including David Beckham, Ian Wright and Frank Lampard also make appearances.

The ad features a slow, gloomy rendition of the track to correspond with England’s previous shortcomings in European competitions.

But England fans will be hoping that the team can take a sad song and make it better with Jude at the helm.

And an opening-day win was a solid start, even if the manner of the performance was not always dominant.
