He was joined by World Cup winner Kaka as he enjoyed dinner alongside a quartet of fellow former players.

Ex-Arsenal loanee Julio Baptista, Michel Bastos and Miranda were also present.

However, fans were shocked to see a one-time Manchester City star’s new look.

Ditching his short hair and clean shave look from his playing days, the 42-year-old sported curls and a beard in the photo.

The mystery player was none other than City cult hero Elano.

Other social media snaps have also seen him sport even longer curls along with glasses and a greying beard.

Elano joined City from Shakhtar Donetsk for £10million in 2007, spending two years at the Etihad Stadium.

During that time, he scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in 62 Premier League appearances.
