How many Premier League trophies are there?
There are TWO identical Premier League trophies, which include an engraved base detailing past top flight winners.
During the season, one is displayed by the Premier League champions, while the other is used by the league.
The current champions are forced to return their trophy to the Premier League at least three weeks before the final league match of the season.
This is because circumstances such as the one on Sunday can arise with the potential of two different teams being crowned champions.

So, come the final day of the 2023/24 Premier League season, identical trophies will be waiting at both Man City’s Etihad stadium and Arsenal’s Emirates stadium.
In addition to this, 40 winners’ medals will be at each ground.
Alongside the silverware, the Premier League will provide podiums and fireworks at both stadiums.
An expert engraver will be on hand at both arenas to etch the required team’s name onto the trophy after they lift it.
