PEP GUARDIOLA was involved in an awkward moment with a TNT Sports reporter before Manchester City’s draw with Real Madrid.
The City boss left the reporter confused with his “vomit” outburst during his pre-match interview.
Guardiola had been revealing the reason for Kevin De Bruyne’s absence.
City were forced into a last-minute change before the quarter-final first leg with the Belgian only fit enough for a place on the bench.
This was later confirmed to be due to De Bruyne vomiting ahead of the match by Guardiola.
However, his interview turned awkward as the reporter misheard what he said at first.
Only after Guardiola had repeated himself and added “he feels unwell” did what he was saying become clear.
The City boss explained: “De Bruyne? Vomit. He feels unwell.
“I don’t know, we make a meeting and he was ready, when we arrive in the locker room starts to vomit and say he’s not ready.”
Fans were quick to react to the exchange on social media, with one writing: “Love how he responds to the question.”

In De Bruyne’s absence, Phil Foden returned to the starting line-up after being rested for Saturday’s win at Crystal Palace.
Foden made the most of his opportunity with a stunning strike to equalise in the second half as City earned a 3-3 draw in Spain.
De Bruyne had put in a man-of-the-match display at Selhurst Park at the weekend, scoring twice in a 4-2 victory.
His brace has taken his tally for the season to four across all competitions as well as 14 assists for the treble winners.
