Man Utd led the thrilling match 3-2 when he was replaced by Scott McTominay, but the hostile atmosphere had not yet subsided for the Brazilian midfielder.

When he stood up during the final moments of the match, he appeared to block some Chelsea supporters’ view of the game.

A video later emerged on social media showing Blues fans giving Casemiro some X-rated verbals after he obscured their line of sight.

But the ex-Real Madrid man apologised and sat back down, before he made sure he was no longer blocking them, saying: “It’s OK now? Now OK?”

Erik ten Hag discusses Liverpool v Man Utd

And another added: “Respectful lad.”

SunSport’s Dan King was disappointed by Casemiro’s performance against Chelsea.

And Erik ten Hag will be concerned by recent displays heading into a clash with Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Man Utd conceded 59 shots in their games against Brentford and Chelsea, picking up just one point in the process.

They are now nine points adrift of fifth-place Tottenham with just eight games remaining, making it incredibly tough for Ten Hag’s side to clinch Champions League qualification.
