ARSENAL have been dealt a huge injury blow after Bukayo Saka was forced off against Manchester City.
The winger went down during the second half and was unable to continue.
Saka missed England’s games against Brazil and Belgium as he was carrying a knock.
But Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta deemed him fit enough to start at The Etihad.
However his match was cut short in the 78th minute as Saka went down clutching his leg.
Fortunately for Arsenal it was nothing serious as Arteta confirmed Saka was taken off with fatigue.
He said after the game: “He just went out today with fatigue, nothing serious.”
Saka has missed just one Premier League game this season, which ironically was the home meeting with City.
Saka faces a race to be fit in time for Arsenal’s next match, which is against Luton on Wednesday.
The games then come thick and fast for Mikel Arteta’s side – six in 17 days starting with the visit from the Hatters.
