ONE of Europe’s most iconic stadiums is adopting a new look as part of their near billion pound renovation.
Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium looks unrecognisable as it nears the end of it’s multi-year face lift.
The Bernabeu has long been one of the most iconic stadiums in football as home to Los Blancos.
Now their renovation works are ensuring the ground is at the forefront of the game in the same way the club is.
A new video has shown that the club have installed a 360 degree screen that wraps around the top tier of the stadium.
The huge TV will allow fans all around the ground to have a view of the screen during the match and is reminiscent of the screen used in SoFi Stadium, home to the NFL’s LA Rams.

The new video of the Bernabeu also looks as though there is no pitch, however the grass is instead UNDERGROUND in a greenhouse that allows it to stay in top condition for matchdays.
Real Madrid are currently using the stadium despite renovation works continuing.
The club have been playing their home matches on the pitch since September when the ground re-opened for the first time since work began in 2019.
The changes have also seen a retractable roof added to the ground, a brand new design on the outside facade and an increased capacity.

For now only 66,000 fans are able to enjoy the new facilities, but following the completion of the work there will be a maximum capacity of 85,000 fans – 4,000 more than before the renovation.
The European giants have also added a VIP super box to the stadium which will allow fans to watch matches in total luxury.
The box will feature both a restaurant area and a NIGHTCLUB with a huge bar as the centrepiece of the lavish hosting space.
