ENGLAND have some of the world’s most valuable footballers in their ranks ahead of Euro 2024.
Gareth Southgate’s side are the current favourites to lift the trophy in Germany this summer.
The Three Lions’ friendlies against Brazil and Belgium provided the last chance to impress before Southgate names his final squad.
However, will those selected for the tournament reflect the most valuable players available to Southgate.
According to Transfermarkt, the top 10 most valuable English players are worth a total of £847million.
This is perhaps no surprise after record summer transfers for Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham in 2023.

There are some shocks in the positions of the England players within the top 10.
Bellingham tops the list at a valuation of £154million following his stunning form in Spain this season.
The midfielder is the current top scorer in LaLiga after scoring 16 league goals for Real Madrid.
He has become a key man for the Spanish giants since signing from Borussia Dortmund for £115million, a record fee for a British player.

Bellingham edges out the two players who could line up alongside him in England’s attacking trio behind Harry Kane this summer.
Both Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka are valued at £111million, with Harry Kane and Declan Rice joint fourth at £94million each.
Kane and Rice were both involved in transfer sagas last summer which concluded in huge fees.
Bayern Munich parted with a reported £104million to sign Kane from Tottenham and have since been repaid with countless scoring records.
Meanwhile, Spurs’ rivals Arsenal paid West Ham a club-record £105million fee for Rice after months of speculation.
There is a significant drop in the value of England’s top players outside the top five.
James Maddison and Trent Alexander-Arnold are tied sixth at £60million.
The valuation shows Spurs got a bargain after landing Maddison from relegated Leicester last summer for just £45million.
As for Alexander-Arnold, the Liverpool full-back was forced out of this month’s friendlies through injury.
He has previously shown his versatility under Southgate by starring in midfield for the Three Lions.
Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins are narrowly behind in joint-eighth at a value of £56million.
Their values show a stark contrast between their most recent transfer fees.
Manchester City paid a then British record £100million to sign Grealish from Aston Villa in 2021.
Despite injuries disrupting Grealish’s form this season, he has continued to be a consistent performer for England since his move to the Etihad Stadium.
Meanwhile, Watkins joined Grealish at Villa for just £33million a year earlier in what was a club record deal at the time.
The 28-year-old is currently the top scoring Englishman in the Premier League this season with 16 goals.
He has also provided ten league assists for his Villa team-mates.
Marcus Rashford completes the top ten with a value of £51million.
The Manchester United winger signed a new deal last summer but has had an indifferent season for the Red Devils.
Despite his contract extension through to 2028, Rashford has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain in recent months.
