SHAKIRA has branded her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique “Voldemort” in her latest swipe at the former footballer.
The pair spent 11 years together before their toxic split in 2022 after Pique reportedly cheated on his popstar partner.
During their relationship, Shakira and Pique, who is now dating Clara Chia Marti, had two children together.
However, she has now compared him to the Harry Potter villain because he “shouldn’t be named”.
She took aim at Pique after including a diss track on her new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
The record also includes a song titled Ultima, which features the lyrics: “Surely with time you’ll regret it, and someday you’ll want to come back to my door.”

Asked if those words were aimed at Pique, Shakira told The Times: “Voldemort, that one that shouldn’t be mentioned? It’s hopefully the last song that I will write about this, and to him.
“I felt that there was still something there, stuck in my throat, and I needed to get it out.
“I played it to the marketing head at Sony and he started crying. I’d never seen a man cry in my studio before.”
The swipe comes after the 47-year-old singer claimed she put her “career on hold” to be with Pique.

She said: “There was a lot of sacrifice for love,” before adding that she used the album to “exorcise a lot of the demons that were tormenting” her.
Pique played for Spanish giants Barcelona through his relationship with the Colombian musician.
He retired in January 2023 aged 35 after a career which saw him win both the World Cup and Euros with Spain.
At club level, Pique won 34 major trophies across spells with Barca and Manchester United, including four Champions Leagues and 10 league titles.
