MARIO BALOTELLI has pranked his team-mates by setting off a firecracker in the changing room.
The Italian striker, who now plays for Turkey’s Adana Demirspor, nearly blew up a team-mate’s shoe with his latest prank.
In a video shared to his Instagram story, Balotelli can be seen lighting the firecracker before throwing it across the room.
He then covers his ears as it lands on a shoe and explodes to the shock of his team-mates.
Balotelli, who captioned the clip with party and laughing crying emojis, is left giggling in response to his own antics.
Fans were all in agreement on social media too, with one joking: “Balotelli cannot change at all.”

Another added: “The most unserious player.”
Meanwhile, a third fan also commented: “Some things never change.”
Balotelli reportedly set part of his house on fire in October 2011 after setting off fireworks indoors.
The incident occurred just days before he scored twice for Manchester City in a 6-1 Manchester derby win at Old Trafford.

He was later made an ambassador for firework safety despite also chasing Micah Richards round his house with fireworks.
Richards revealed earlier this season that his former City team-mate had pulled off the stunt just a few weeks after the incident at his home.
Now aged 33, Balotelli is in his second spell with Adana Demirspor in Turkey.
He returned to the club in September following a season with Swiss outfit Sion.
The former Italy international has scored five goals in nine appearances this term after missing three months due to knee surgery.
His side are currently 10th in the table after 28 matches with a squad that includes fellow Premier League winner Nani.
