FANS slammed Manchester City after they appeared to mock Cole Palmer following Chelsea’s Carabao Cup final defeat.
Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Liverpool thanks to Virgil van Dijk’s extra-time winner.
But the Blues had a hatful of chances to win and ought to have put the game to bed in normal time, with Palmer amongst those guilty of missing chances.
The forward missed from point-blank range thanks to a superb Caomhin Kelleher which meant Palmer did not live up to his ‘cold’ nickname.
The England star’s Chelsea team-mates branded him with the nickname thanks to his coolness and composure in front of goal.
And after Chelsea’s defeat in the final Manchester City – Palmer’s former club – appeared to throw shade at the 21-year-old.

The club shared a photo of a topless Phil Foden in what appeared to be an ice chamber, wearing only a woolly City hate, mask and gloves.
Foden seemed to mimic Palmer’s ‘cold’ celebration, in which the Chelsea star rubs his arms after scoring.
Fans pointed out the similarity and criticised City for apparently trolling Palmer.
One reacted saying: “Trolling your boy? Have some class.”
