ERIK TEN HAG may win the title as the most ruthless manager in the Premier League according to ex-Ajax star Noa Lang.
The winger was given a rocklicking by Ten Hag when he played under the Red Devils manager at Ajax – the boss never text back Lang which led to stars exit from the Allianz Arena.
Lang, 24, has reflected on his time at Ajax when playing under Ten Hag.
And according to the winger the pair did not see eye to eye with eachother which forced Lang’s departure form the club in 2021 after Ten Hag did not respond to his message.
Lang said in a doctumentry about his life: “I can show you the text messages.
“I still have them here. I sent Ten Hag text from the bible and said ‘you should just let me go, just stop demoting me.’

“He Ten Hag also never wished me luck or anything after that. Not even a text message, nothing at all.
“I thought, ‘okay, not even good luck, to your own player.’
“I then just grabbed a bag at Ajax, put all my boots in it and said I’m not coming here anymore, man.’
“In my heart I wanted to stay at Ajax, but my mind told me to leave.”

The fued began with the pair after Lang had a spat with former Southampton winger Dusan Tadic back in 2019 in a Dutch Cup game was picked up by TV cameras.
And this ended up with Ten Hag branding the star as a troublemaker which led to him letting the winger’s transfer to Club Brugge in 2020.
Lang continued: “I know I am a type that can get the blood under your nails, because I say what I think.
“That can’t always be easy for a coach but I am just a winner. That is where my bad reputation started.
“I was the one who got the rollicking – and right in front of a TV camera and microphones.
“But I don’t care who you are, even though I was nineteen at the time. If I am wronged, I just say so.”
A similar outburst from the Ductchman who now plays for PSV Eindhoven was seen again by fans after his former side Brugge drew 2-2 against Cercle Brugge in February 2023.
A clip went viral on Reddit showing the ex-Ajax wonderkid storming through the tunnel dropping F-bombs after his new team – Scott Parker’s Club Brugge – drew 2-2 at Cercle Brugge on Sunday.
