JASON TINDALL appeared to be snubbed by Unai Emery after Newcastle’s 3-1 win at Aston Villa last night.
The Toon’s assistant boss is rarely far from Eddie Howe’s side during games.
Moments after the final whistle was blown at Villa Park, a disappointed Emery trudged over to shake Howe’s hand.
The Spaniard immediately turned around after the handshake, despite Tindall trailing Howe and clearly expecting one too.
After the apparent snub, the No2 wore a wry smile.
Noticing the incident, one fan joked: “Jason Tindall definitely fuming that Unai Emery turned his back on him hahah.”

While a Toon fan quipped: “Emery knows when he’s met his tactical superior and wants none of it.”
A third wrote: “The way he was going for the handshake and styled it out with the rub of the chin.”
And another added: “Perhaps he deserved it, Jason. Ever considered that?”
Newcastle took a commanding three-goal lead on the night via Fabian Schar’s unlikely double and an own goal by Alex Moreno.

Ollie Watkins pulled one back for the home side on 71 minutes, but it was too little, too late.
After his side’s 3-1 defeat, a disappointed Emery told the BBC: “It is a little frustrating. The first 60 minutes, they were better.
“We couldn’t take chances to draw but we have to accept and remind the players everything we did here was not perfect. We then have to correct what we did here.
“We have to be demanding that we can improve. We have to react tactically.”
Newcastle fans love Tindall and recently took to chanting his name to the tune of Wham’s Last Christmas.
Tindall, 46, last month made some fans wince as he winked while saying “hopefully it’s not your last Christmas” while standing in a children’s hospital.
While his comment was a nod towards his chant, many fans couldn’t help but feel that it came across as cringey.
SunSport columnist Troy Deeney even claimed that Tindall loves himself so much that he’d “eat himself” – but the former Watford man enjoys his antics.
