RIO FERDINAND has shown off his new beard and hair transplant.
The former Manchester United jetted to Turkey to “fill in a couple of patches”.
Ferdinand, 45, headed to Istanbul’s Dr Cinik hospital in order to have his treatment done.
As part of the deal, the former defender starred in a social media promo for the clinic.
In the video posted to social media, he said: ” I’m here to get my beard sorted out, I’ve got a couple of holes, a couple of patches.
“Get my hair transplant done. I can’t wait to get it done. Listen, if you’re ever thinking about getting yours done, this is the place to be.”

The clip subsequently follows Ferdinand around through the various stages of the treatment.
It then concludes by showing a delighted Ferdinand gifting the hospital a signed Man Utd shirt.
Former Premier League stars Bacary Sagna, Ryan Babel and Diego Lugano have had work done at the clinic in the past, as well as French World Cup winner David Trezeguet.
And the hospital’s esteemed shirt collection already features those of Liverpool, Marseille, Brazil and Croatia.

Ferdinand admitted to dying his greying beard back in 2021.
He told Gabby Logan: “I dye my beard sometimes, I get grey hairs here. I dye it. I think it just looks better.
“I’m not ashamed of having grey hair, I don’t care, but it looks better if it’s all one colour.
“If it all went grey, the whole beard was grey, I’d let it just go. But it’s like patchwork.”
Ferdinand has two children with wife Kate, 32 – son Cree, three, and daughter Shae, born earlier this year.
He has a further three kids – Lorenz, 17, Tate, 15, and Tia, 12 – from his marriage to late first wife Rebecca Ellison, who passed away from breast cancer in 2018.
