FOOTBALL legend Terry Venables was best known for leading England to the Euro semi-finals in ‘96, but off the pitch, he was a father and husband.
But who are his children and what did he say about them? Here’s what we know.
Who are Terry Venables’ children?
Former England manager Terry “El Tel” Venables sadly passed away at the age of 80.
He had two daughters from his first marriage.
Little is known about Terry’s daughters, but according to a 2014 interview with the Guardian, it seems Terry’s daughters were both born in the late 60s – early 70s.
One of Terry’s daughters, Tracey Graham, appears to have followed her father into the football industry.

In 1997, Terry took up a post managing Tottenham Hotspur, before being appointed chief executive in 1991.
In 1993, Terry was dismissed from his post, and it was reported at the time that Tracey Venables, was also sacked from her job as National Membership Secretary at the club.
Tracey, 23 at the time, had apparently worked at Spurs for over a year.
It was reported at the time that Terry’s daughter Tracey appeared at the Spurs North London grounds gates and announced: “I’ve just this minute been sacked. I’m very angry. I had no idea this was going to happen.”

His other daughter is called Nancy, but little is known about what she does for a living.
Terry also has at least one grandson, Sam, who he mentioned in his 2014 autobiography, Born to Manage.
What did Terry Venables say about his children?
Terry seemed to keep his private life private and rarely mentioned his children or family in public.
In his 2014 autobiography, he mentions the stress that his glittering football career had on his family.
After being appointed Barcelona manager in 1984, he recalled that the move culminated in the end of his marriage to his first wife, but that both parents “wanted to ensure that our two daughters understood they still had loving parents”.
The family seem close, as Terry makes references to family holidays in Majorca.
Who is Terry Venables’ ex-wife Christine?
Terry married his first wife, Christine McCann, a dressmaker, in 1966.
In his autobiography, Terry wrote that they had met when they were 16 years old and got married while he was playing at Chelsea, his first club.
They had “drifted apart”, and his move to Barcelona as manager in 1984 precipitated their divorce.
The split was “as amicable as possible”.
Terry was soon in a relationship with his second wife, Yvette Bazire, who he had met in his dad’s pub in Chingford, London.
Yvette accompanied Terry to Barcelona, and the pair tied the knot seven years later, in 1991.
