BRUNO FERNANDES has corrected fans and pundits alike on how to pronounce his name.
The Portuguese ace has become a household name since making his move to Manchester United in January 2020.
All this time, however, most have been saying “Fernandes” incorrectly.
Many have pronounced it “Fer-nan-des”, sounding it out as if it were an English word.
But in a new video produced by the Premier League, the 29-year-old has put people right.
In a clip also featuring the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai, Kevin De Bruyne, Dejan Kulusevski and Kaoru Mitoma – stars from overseas clearly said their names authentically.
