ARSENAL fans are fearing the worst for William Saliba after claiming he’s cursed in a France shirt.
It comes as France have failed to win any of the last five matches in which Saliba has started.
The Arsenal centre-back made the starting XI in France’s 2-2 draw with Greece on Tuesday.
He also played 90 minutes in France’s 2-1 defeat to Germany in the September international friendlies.
The World Cup runners up also lost 1-0 to Tunisia during Qatar 2022, and 2-1 to Denmark in 2022 when Saliba featured.
The 22-year-old was an unused substitute during France’s record breaking 14-0 victory over 10-man Gibraltar.

And eagle-eyed Arsenal fans were the culprits who made the dreaded link.
One fan wrote: “Saliba is cursed when he plays for France.”
Another said: “Saliba’s time will come, I think Deschamps is dealing with slowly integrating him.”
A third wrote: “It’s probably better to rest him then.”

But Saliba is clearly more fortunate when playing in England.
The Frenchmen is a fan favourite at the Emirates, after joining in £27million move from St.Etienne in 2019.
He was one of four Arsenal players to be included in the 2022 Premier League team of the year.
Many point to the fact that his injury in March last year potentially cost the Gunners their first title in 20 years.
He was applauded by fans after his near-perfect performance at the heart of Arsenal’s defence in their 1-0 victory over title rivals Manchester City last month.
