RONALDINHO’S son Joao Mendes has reportedly found himself “stuck in the shadows” since joining Barcelona B.
The youngster joined the Spanish giants earlier this year.
But unlike his superstar father, Mendes has struggled to make his stamp on the club.
He made his debut in a friendly against Manchester United youth team in February but his game time has been limited since then.
Mendes, 18, had to wait two months until his next game, which came in the Mediterranean International Cup.
He then started against Damm earlier this month, but he has still only totalled 89 minutes played this season.

The youngster shared an image of himself taken from that game alongside the caption: “God is great.”
He boasts 543,000 Instagram followers where he regularly shares photos of him on the pitch.
Mendes also posts photos of himself with Giovanna Buscacio, wishing her a happy birthday a few weeks ago.
The striker’s deal is understood to run until the end of the season.
