FORMER Manchester United ace Lee Martin was signed for £1million by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2003.
Now the midfielder is at his 17th club – Ramsgate FC – and is set to play in the biggest game in the club’s history in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Devon-born ace made three first-team appearances for the Red Devils after coming through their famous academy.
Legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson scouted the youngster while he was at Wimbledon and made a move to Old Trafford at 16-year-old for £1million.
In addition to the Red Devils, he had also attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham.
Martin had an unsuccessful breakthrough into the Red Devils’ first team after several loan spells to clubs including Rangers, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United.
