Winks, 27, has been ever-present in Enzo Maresca’s team since his arrival.

The midfielder has played in all 14 of the club’s Championship fixtures so far this season.

He has now bagged his first goal as the former Premier League champions continue to dominate the second division.

Winks fired a shot from distance into the top corner of the QPR goal in the 79th minute to hand Leicester the win the hosts had equalised.
