Paul, 28, had won every round before Danis attempted to perform a jiu jitsu move on him in the final seconds.

All hell broke loose as security separated the fighters, with Danis ushered away.

Despite settling their beef in the ring, the duo have continued to trade barbs online.

Paul mocked Danis by posting a picture of him mocked up as his dog.

Just a few hours after the bout, Paul wrote: “honestly nothing to be proud about. that dude sucks, a real c***.

“I’m gonna go back to living my life but felt good to beat his a** for 6 rounds and let him embarrass himself. Drink prime.”

Danis, 30, responded: “A Jiu Jitsu guy with no boxing camp or coach made his debut, never wobbled, never dropped, had no standing 8 count, and rocked you multiple times.

“If I were Nina, I’d call off the wedding. You achieved nothing in your own sport, MMA next.”

Earlier today, Paul threw another online jab, posting: “I think Dillion perfectly embodies the problem with society.

“All s*** talk behind a screen. No action. Just another peasant running his mouth contributing nothing to this world but negativity.

“So happy I got to expose this clown.”

Danis responded: “What did you prove? You didn’t even tickle me. You backed out of an MMA fight against me.

“Everyone knew I’m not a boxer, but unlike others, I took on the challenge even with everything in your favour: weight, steroids, rounds, rules, judges, referees… the list goes on.

“I won the War.”

In addition to his tweets regarding Danis, Paul also offered words of support to friend and business partner KSI, following the 30-year-old’s controversial defeat to Tommy Fury.

He wrote: “Be proud bro. You’ve achieved the impossible and will continue to do so.”
