MANCHESTER UNITED fans had the last laugh on Saturday after spotting Brentford defender Kristoffer Ajer celebrating a goal kick.
The Red Devils were trailing 1-0 in the 90th minute following Mathias Jensen’s first-half strike.
But they refused to admit defeat and went on to complete an astonishing extra-time turnaround.
Super-sub Scott McTominay, who was introduced in the 87th minute to replace Sofyan Amrabat, fired United level in the 93rd minute before scoring the winner with just seconds left to play.
However, before the Scottish midfielder changed the game in the late stages, Brentford centre-back Ajer thought his team had already won it.
The 25-year-old was spotted celebrating a GOAL KICK in the 92nd minute of the match – just moments before conceding the equaliser.

After the match, McTominay admitted that scoring the winner was one of his “favourite” moments.
He said: “That might be one of my favourite moments on a football pitch.
“Two goals at the death was incredible, but I am just happy to be able to contribute and show people that I can do it.
“It was very loud, the fans were roaring us on so I couldn’t hear fully. He [Erik ten Hag] probably said something like: ‘Go on and score,’ which is what I did.”
