FANS were left baffled as VAR reviewed the wrong image during Brentford’s clash with Everton.
The Toffees led through Abdoulaye Doucoure, before Mathias Jensen levelled for the home side.
Everton supporters felt that they may be given a reprieve, when a VAR check seemed to draw a line suggesting there had been an offside in the build-up.
But it was later revealed that they had been wasting time reviewing the wrong image.
Officials were examining the position of Brentford’s central forward… who was not active as they were looking at the previous pass to a different player 0 much to the Evertonians’ ire.
One tweeted: “So the 1st VAR check was Offside and then they realised, they were looking at a wrong frame.
