Aston Villa stars ‘look like they’re coming out of a bath’ as major kit problem is revealed

ASTON VILLA’s new home kit might look slick, but it also looks fairly slippery.

The result didn’t quite go the Birmingham club’s way – losing 3-2 in Poland.

And if they’re looking for something to blame, they could single out their dripping wet kits.

During the game, several fans and kit experts noticed that Villa’s Castore jerseys seemed to cling the players’ bodies.

One fan hilariously wrote it made them look “like they just came out of the bath.”

As is clear in the snaps from the game, Villa’s kit appears to be lacking in breathability.

That is leading to a moisture build-up that is leaving shirts absolutely drenched.

Former kit designer and industry expert @Real_Rob_Warner pointed out the issues online.

He wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Castore ought to be ashamed of those Villa shirts. I’ve genuinely never seen anything like it.”

Although Villa’s home shirts seem to suffer with the issue, Emiliano Martinez’s goalkeeper top appears to be fine.

Newcastle United also have their kits manufactured by the Manchester based company.

While in Scotland, Rangers are also kitted out by Castore.

However, both those kits don’t appear to have the same problem as the Villa one.
