HARRY KANE revealed why Bayern Munich are the perfect team for him after he scored on his debut for the club – and how things are different in Germany.
The striker finished off a fast-flowing move after being left in acres of space in the centre of the pitch.
Alphonso Davies burst down the left flank before playing Kane through on goal and the England captain believes Bayern’s pace is perfect for him.
He hinted at continuing his playmaking style – having finished with the most Premier League assists in 2020-21 – but remains focused on scoring goals for his new club.
Kane told Sky Sports after his debut: “We’ve seen my game, I like to drop deep and link play in the last four or five years.
“I think with the pace we have in this team, it works perfectly.

“I’m a No 9 first and foremost so I have to get in the box and make the runs forward. I’m really happy, we have a fantastic squad and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
Kane, 30, demonstrated how well he will fit in after just three minutes against Werder Bremen, as he played in Leroy Sane to open the scoring.
The former Tottenham star could have had a hat-trick with Bremen goalkeeper Jiri Pavlenka pulling off several saves before Kane found the net.
Kane’s debut ended prematurely as he pulled up with cramp, but he left the pitch to a standing ovation from the travelling Bayern support.

Kane was impressed with the atmosphere at the Weserstadion and praised both sets of fans for their show of support.
He added: “The fans from both sides were incredible the whole game, really different to some of the Premier League atmospheres I’ve experienced.”
