TOTTENHAM have made a transfer enquiry for Brighton striker Evan Ferguson, according to reports.
Spurs are on the search for a new number nine after selling Harry Kane to Bayern Munich for £104million.
Romelu Lukaku has been linked with a move to North London but a new report claims the club also have their eye on Ferguson.
According to TEAMtalk Spurs have enquired about the youngster’s availability.
But their approach is set to be rejected as the Seagulls have no interest in selling Ferguson, who scored six goals in debut Premier League season last term.
Ferguson’s fine form was rewarded with a new long-term contract in April, tying down the Republic of Ireland international until 2028.

But that has not deterred Spurs interest as they view the 18-year-old as Kane’s long-term successor.
Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker is also a big fan of Ferguson and tipped his former club to sign the striker.
He said: “Evan Ferguson scores in Fergie time. He’s a born goalscorer.
“If I was in charge of recruitment at @SpursOfficial I’d take a punt on him as Kane’s replacement. Apologies to @OfficialBHAFC fans”.
