FANS were left utterly baffled by the “weirdest announcement ever” as Burnley dropped their latest transfer video.
And one even joked the admin must be “taking LSD” for using the Teletubbies clip.
Burnley have earned a reputation for their bonkers ways of confirming new signings to their supporters on social media.
That includes references to Gavin & Stacey, Generation Game, Toy Story, Scary Movie and Shrek.
And they possibly dropped their most bizarre effort yet on Wednesday morning to welcome Swiss international Zeki Amdouni to Turf Moor from FC Basel.
The 52-second Twitter post shows an extract from popular kids’ TV show Teletubbies, with a voiceover asking: “Who are Burnley playing today?”

The four Teletubbies – Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po – then go through their famous introductions before the former is chosen.
And on the screen on his belly, Amdouni is shown in his new Burnley training kit, waving at the camera and saying: “Hello.”
The Teletubbies reply in unison “eh oh” before the 22-year-old striker added: “Hello, my name is Zeki Amdouni.
“I am very happy to be here and I am excited to play. Up the Clarets.”

And unsurprisingly, the video got plenty of reaction on social media.
One said: “And winner of the weirdest transfer announcement of all time goes to…”
Another wrote: “What have I just watched?”
A third added: “This is so dreadful that it’s amazing.”
‘WORTHY OF RELEGATION’
A fourth commented: “This alone is worthy of relegation.”
A fifth replied: “Literally, the worst player announcement I’ve ever seen… Brilliant.”
And a final user joked: “So do you take LSD as soon as you get up or wait until you’re in the office?”
Amdouni follows Dara O’Shea, Lawrence Vigouroux, Jordan Beyer and Michael Obafemi into Burnley this summer.
The 22-year-old said: “I know it’s the best league in the world. It’s not easy for sure but I am confident and with the coach, and the staff, I can do good things here.
“I’m a very calm player, I can play in a lot of forward positions and can score goals for sure.”
