JUVENTUS are chasing a shock move for Romelu Lukaku but are furious with Chelsea for hiking his price tag.
The Blues have reportedly increased their asking price for the striker after Juventus made their interest known.
Lukaku’s future at Stamford Bridge remains unclear following his loan spell at Inter Milan last season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Juve have expressed an interest in signing the 30-year-old.
However, they have been left unhappy with Chelsea after they informed Inter of their interest.
The report adds that Chelsea have also raised their asking price for Lukaku to £40million after rejecting a £23million offer from Inter.

Juventus have been holding talks over a deal for Lukaku, who is also attracting interest from Al-Hilal.
Chelsea re-signed Lukaku from Inter in 2021 for £96.5million but spent last season on loan at Inter.
He scored 14 goals in 37 appearances, including 10 Serie A goals.
Lukaku could still have a future at Chelsea under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Speaking in his first Chelsea press conference, Pochettino told reporters: “Everyone knows what we think.
“In that case he needs to come back on the 12th or 13th to be part of the squad to start pre-season.
“When he arrives the first thing he’ll do is come to my office and say hello. If he is still a Chelsea player, I expect the same.”
