SIMONE INZAGHI lost his cool with a member of his backroom staff on the touchline as potential Champions League glory ebbed away from his team.
The Inter Milan boss guided his side all the way to tonight’s final, only to be beaten 1-0 by Pep Guardiola’s Treble-winning stars.
Inter fell behind in the 68th minute, when Rodri coolly slotted home from 15 yards.
They pushed hard for an equaliser, hitting the bar just moments after City’s goal.
Five minutes were added on at the end of the match, with the Serie A side continuing to push.
City stopper Ederson made a superb save from a late corner, leaving Inzaghi devastated.

As the camera focused on him, ten seconds beyond the allocated time added on, he could be seen angrily shoving a man away.
Inzaghi, 47, gave the man a furious stare after pushing him off.
The full-time whistle followed just moments later, sparking pandemonium among City players and fans.
It was the opposite story for Inter, however, with some players slumping to their knees.

Inter came third in Serie A, 18 points behind runaway champions Napoli.
They did manage to grab some silverware, retaining their Coppa Italia and winning the Supercoppa Italiana.
Inzaghi’s men beat Napoli and rivals AC Milan on the way to the Champions League final, before falling to Guardiola’s all-conquering City.
After the game, match-winner Rodri swore live on BT Sport.
The Spaniard told Des Kelly: “It was an unbelievable effort from everyone. I wasn’t good in the first half, I was playing s*** to be honest.
“And then we spoke about the mentality, I said to myself ‘you have to overcome this situation’.
“In the end I scored a goal, unbelievable.”
