MAX VERSTAPPEN was victorious at the Spanish Grand Prix and significantly increased his lead at the top of the F1 driver standings.
The Dutchman claimed his fifth win out of a possible seven – with all of this season’s Grand Prix being won by team Red Bull.
Lewis Hamilton finished runner-up in Barcelona, while teammate George Russell claimed third, securing a double podium finish for Mercedes.
Sergio Perez will be hoping to claim a podium finish in Montreal after failing to do so in the last two Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver has Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso breathing down his neck in the driver standings.
