A LEADING Premier League physio has quit his post to pursue a TV career.

Bournemouth medic Stuart Douglas has left the South Coast club, a year after jetting to the Australian jungle to support his sister.

Ex A Place in the Sun presenter Scarlette Douglas was a contestant on last year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

And Stuart, 45, wants to link up with her and forge a career on the small screen.

They previously hosted shows together on Channel 4.

Now, with more time on his hands, Douglas wants to focus solely on finding opportunities on TV with his sibling.

According to the Daily Mail, he will stay with the Cherries until the end of the campaign.

Stuart and Scarlette worked on Worst House together.

The duo also fronted Flipping Fast, alongside George Clarke.

The property competition format on Channel 4 is about developers that hope to start their own property business.

This was part of Channel 4’s Black to Front project in September 2021.

Douglas began his career with Luton Town as a youth player and went on to make 173 appearances in all competitions for the Hatters.

He retired from playing in 2011 following a spell at non league Poole Town.
