RAUL JIMENEZ’S partner has hit out at Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui following her husband’s recent absence from the team.
The Mexican, 32, who has struggled ever since fracturing his skull in November 2020, has not been included in any of Lopetegui’s last four squads.
Jimenez has not featured since Wolves’ 4-2 defeat to Leeds last month.
Instead, former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid man Diego Costa has been leading the line up front.
And Jimenez’s partner, Daniela Basso, slammed the treatment of him on social media.
Speaking on Twitter, she said: “Loyalty? Being loyal is breaking your head and still being here at the foot of the canyon… just saying.”

Jimenez has not scored in any of his 13 Premier League appearances so far this season.
He bagged three goals in the Carabao Cup, but has not hit the back of the net in the league for more than a year.
And his future remains uncertain as he prepares to enter the final 12 months of his contract this summer.
Since Lopetegui dropped Jimenez from his squad, Wolves have won three of their last four games.

Victories over Chelsea, Brentford and Crystal Palace have taken them clear of the relegation zone.
They now sit eight points above the drop in 13th place with just five games remaining.
But they do face a tricky run-in as they prepare to face Brighton, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Everton and Arsenal.
