MARCUS RASHFORD led the line superbly for Manchester United during their 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Thursday night.
But Christian Eriksen suffered a difficult evening in the midfield as he returned to North London to take on his former side.
Erik ten Hag’s men spurned a two-goal first-half lead given to them through strikes from Jadon Sancho and Rashford.
Spurs fought back after the break and Pedro Porro’s lovely finish was added to by Son Heung-min as the spoils were shared at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
But how did each Man Utd star perform in the game?
Here is how SunSport’s Dan King saw the Red Devils’ individual displays.

DAVID DE GEA – 7
Untroubled for most of the first half but made two smart stops from Perisic before United grabbed their second.
Helpless for both goals and left exposed by a defence that gave up chance after chance in the second period.
AARON WAN-BISSAKA – 6
Played high and wide in the first half to stretch the pitch and give United room to play. Made important defensive interventions, too.
Like the rest of the team,he was forced on to the back foot by Spurs’ revival, but coped better than Dalot at least.

VICTOR LINDELOF – 6
The unlikely hero of Wembley had a decent first half against Tottenham’s front three.
Important headed clearance early in second half but lost composure a bit and was lucky not to see a second yellow card for a foul on Son.
LUKE SHAW – 7
Who needs a World Cup-winning centre half like Lisandro Martinez when you’ve got Shaw? In the right place at the right time, almost all the time.
The only United defender to keep his head as Spurs turned the game around.
DIOGO DALOT – 5
One of Ten Hag’s less heralded success stories did his job well again filling in for Shaw at left back in the first half and helped Sancho make his impact.
But he was caught out of position as Spurs surged and lost Son for the equaliser.
CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN – 5
Given a warm welcome on his return and obliged with a poor performance.
Passes went uncharacteristically astray. Turned his back on Porro shot that brought Spurs back into it. Could have no complaints about substitution.
CASEMIRO – 6
Kept things ticking along for United in first half but without really grabbing the game by the scruff of the neck as he had done previously, which meant Spurs were never quite out of it even at 2-0 down.
Could not stem second half tide and missed late header.
ANTONY – 5
Most significant moment of the first half was being bawled out by Ten Hag for lying on the ground after not being awarded a free kick.
Did nothing after the break and should have been subbed instead of Sancho. Still doesn’t look like an £80million player.
BRUNO FERNANDES – 6
Very quiet until his 25th-minute shot forced a save out of Forster.
Came into the game more and then found a killer pass for Rashford to score United’s second.
But he should have put United 3-1 up straight after Spurs’ first goal.
JADON SANCHO – 7
Justified his recall inside seven minutes with a well-taken goal and would have had another but for Perisic’s block on the line.
His boss will have loved seeing him nick one off Kane’s toe in his own half, too. Unlucky to be taken off.
MARCUS RASHFORD – 7
Restored to centre forward, he first turned provider by finding Sancho for the opener. Denied twice by Forster, but not a third time as he smashed home United’s second.
Quiet in the second half as Spurs came back into it.
SUBS
ANTHONY MARTIAL (FOR SANCHO, 61 MINS) – 4
Did next nothing, a total waste of a change by United when they needed to regain the initiative.
FRED (FOR ERIKSEN, 61 MINS) – 5
Plenty of energy but not a lot of quality as he buzzed around, misplacing passes and making clumsy fouls.
TYRELL MALACIA (FOR WAN-BISSAKA, 71 MINS) – 5
Allowed Kane the freedom to cross for the equaliser but improved to be United’s most effective sub.

WOUT WEGHORST (FOR ANTONY, 71 MINS) – 5
Put himself about a bit, which was more than Martial did, but to little effect.
Sub not used: Butland, Sabitzer, Pellistri, Williams, Elanga.
