MANCHESTER UNITED fans have called for Casemiro to be made club captain after his agent revealed his continued devotion even when suspended.
The Brazilian midfielder has been one of the team’s stand out players this season following his summer transfer from Real Madrid.
Casemiro has helped the Red Devils win the Carabao Cup as well as compete for the FA Cup and Europa League.
However, he has missed his fair share of domestic games through suspension.
The midfielder is currently serving a four-game ban for his red card against Southampton.
His agent Oscar Ribot has insisted that missing time on the pitch is challenging for the Brazilian.

“He watches hundreds of games: any team, any league.
“I’ve seen him watch Chinese games because there is always some detail.

“He says he won’t be a coach, but he will. He’s already one in a footballer’s body.

“Case has signed for four years plus one. He’s come to win titles; this month has been hard, but there’s nothing else on his mind.”
And fans loved hearing about the midfielder’s passion of the game, with many urging Erik ten Hag to make him captain.
One fan tweeted: “Make him captain.”
A second commented: “Can’t express how much I want him as captain.”
While a third said: “Words can’t describe how lucky we are that he plays for our club.”
Another added: “The fact we have leaders all over the pitch is what makes me happy.”
