TYSON FURY’s team have made a shock approach to Eddie Hearn over a domestic dust-up with Anthony Joshua.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua returned to the win column earlier this month with a scrappy points victory over Jermaine Franklin.
AJ opened the door to a Battle of Britain with long-time rival Fury minutes after his uninspiring win over the American.
And Fury co-promoter Bob Arum has got the ball rolling for the biggest fight in British boxing history with a shock phone call to Hearn.
He told iFL TV: “Bob Arum phoned me the other day, which was quite a surprise.
“Just talking about AJ Fury, he said ‘What are you thinking?’ And I said ‘I don’t know.”

Hearn is open to holding serious talks with Team Fury as the Gypsy King is without an opponent following the collapse of his undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
The Matchroom Boxing chief continued: “We’re all up for discussing the fight.
“I don’t think there will be a significant site fee in July, but we’re still willing to look at the numbers.
“Or if you want to wait and do it later in the year, we’re up for that too.’

“Who knows what’s going to happen with Usyk, with [Deontay] Wilder.”
AJ is hoping to fight two more times this year, with a summer slugfest the desire of new coach Derrick James and Hearn.
And the pair are slating July for the Olympic gold medallist’s next outing to the ring.
Hearn said: “We’ve just got to decide what type of fight we want for July.
“Do we go straight into a massive fight now?”
The 43-year-old later added: “AJ’s going to fight in July, 100 per cent.”
Joshua himself recently hinted that he’ll be back in action in July, writing in an Instagram story updated: “12 weeks I go again.”
