SHAKHTAR DONETSK CEO Serhiy Palkin has said Chelsea have a “diamond” in Mykhailo Mudryk.
But he warned the Blues that they will have to be patient with the winger.
Mudryk joined Chelsea in a mammoth £88.5million deal from Shakhtar in January.

He is yet to nail down a regular starting spot at Stamford Bridge.
However, Palkin is confident that Mudryk will come good and help Chelsea to glory in years to come.

Palkin told Sky Sports: “I said to them ‘you’ve got a real diamond, but you should be very, very patient [with him].’
“Give this guy a little bit of time and he will show what kind of football he will bring to your club.
“I know 100 per cent that he will participate in many, many trophies for Chelsea in the future.

Mudryk scored ten goals and provided eight assists in 18 games for Shakhtar in the first half of the season before joining Chelsea.

In the end he eventually joined Chelsea, where he has been backed to come good by Shakhtar chief Palkin.
