IAN WRIGHT has outlined three areas that Erik ten Hag needs to strengthen in the summer transfer window.
The Arsenal legend is adamant that the Dutch manager “deserves” to be backed in the market for his achievements this season.
However, Wright, 59, has suggested that Ten Hag, 53, needs to sign a new right back.
He claims that the right side is currently “not working” and that it would be improved with a new wide defender.
The ex-Gunner also thinks that Manchester United should look to sign a new striker and a new goalkeeper to at least challenge David De Gea.
He said on his Wrighty’s House podcast: “That man [Ten Hag] has got to get everything he needs to try and do his job well and play the football he wants to play.

United have been linked with Brentford’s David Raya and Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili.
