GRIMSBY Town FC has been forced to apologise after using an offensive video of Katie Price’s son Harvey as the side celebrated its FA Cup win.
The League Two team caused a major upset in the fifth round of the competition by knocking out Southampton last night.
The Mariners secured a 2-1 away win to progress to the quarter-finals for the first time in 84 years.
Following their victory against the struggling Premier League team though, the side’s social media team published a short video of Harvey on their Twitter page.
The clip featured Harvey saying “what a day” while the caption on the post read: “Signing off for the night! Enjoy your night, Town fans.”
Harvey, 20, has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, ADHD and partial blindness.

Some followers took issue with the post and thought it was taunting Katie Price’s son, whose father is Dwight Yorke.
One wrote: “That’s Grimsby getting hammered. Taking the p*** out of disabled people after they win. What a rotten club.”
Another asked: “What are you thinking with this?”
A third person said: “This is in extremely poor taste. Will be very interesting to see what the FA says.

“They either truly believe in inclusiveness and championing disabilities or they tolerate making disabilities a joke.”
The offending tweet was deleted from Grimsby Town’s Twitter page this morning and the club issued an apology.
It said in a statement: “It has come to our attention that an inappropriate gif was posted on the club’s official Twitter account late last night following our game against Southampton in the Emirates FA Cup.
“The post was removed this morning as soon as we were made aware.
“We would like to wholeheartedly apologise for any offence it has caused.”
The club’s board was delighted by the win at St Mary’s, thanks to a brace from Gavan Holohan.
It said in a statement: “We are absolutely delighted to reach the Quarter Finals of this season’s Emirates FA Cup and make competition history in the process.
“Last night’s 2-1 victory at Premier League Southampton epitomised everything which we have come to expect from Paul Hurst’s team in the last 18 months – it was a performance full of grit, determination and moments of quality which have left memories that will last a lifetime.”
Just two weeks ago, Katie published a letter from the Met Police telling her officers are facing misconduct proceedings over alleged involvement in a WhatsApp group that targeted her son.
