FANS watched in horror as a Japanese player scored a shocking own goal.
Takuya Wada made a fatal error for Yokohama against Shonan Bellmare as he misplaced a cross-field pass into his own goal.
The midfielder was trying to find his team-mate on the other side of the penalty box as his side played out from defence.
However, with goalkeeper Kengo Nagai out of his goal, Wada got his pass all wrong.
His lofted pass headed straight for the goal and nestled in the side netting before a defender could fix the mistake.
The shocking own goal has gone viral on social media, with fans voicing their horror at the error.
