MANCHESTER CITY could reportedly turn to Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell to replace Joao Cancelo.
The Portuguese defender is believed to be closing in on a shock move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Cancelo has become disruptive amongst the Man City squad and the club are willing to let him leave, according to the Daily Mail.
The report suggests that the Citizens have approved a loan move to Bayern Munich, and the club will have the option to buy him for £61million at the end of the season.
However, with his exit nearing, the Manchester club will have to find a replacement or risk being short at the back.
Left-back options at the club were already short, with centre-back Nathan Ake filling in at times.

Chilwell has not played in the Premier League since picking up a hamstring injury in October.
However, manager Graham Potter is expecting him to be back for the Blues’ match against Fulham on February 3.

And this could lead to a potential sale of Chilwell if the club received an acceptable offer from City.
