BURNLEY announced the arrival of Lyle Foster with an incredible Shrek video.
The Clarets completed the £8million signing of the 22-year-old South African hitman from KVC Westerlo on Wednesday afternoon.
But if their social media is to be believed, it could have been Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo instead.
Burnley announced Foster’s arrival with a brilliant video including snippets of Shrek baddie Lord Farquaad speaking to the Mirror on the Wall.
Except it had edited to have Farquaad weigh up three new potential signings instead of picking possible princesses as he did in the film.
The first option available was Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina ace Messi.

Manchester United legend Ronaldo – who is now plying his trade in Saudi Arabia – was the second option.
Foster was the third and final potential signing and, after some consultation with his minions, Farquaad duly chooses him, just as he did Princess Fiona in the film.
Footy fans were quick to comment on the brilliant announcement, with one saying: “Sensational.”
Another said: “Class from the media team.”

And another said: “Absolute GENIUS! Credit to the marketing team.”
One remarked: “This announcement video, is the most perfect of them all.”
Foster – Burnley’s third signing of the January transfer window – has inked a four-and-a-half-year contract at Turf Moor.
An over-the-moon Foster said: “I’m very happy to be here.
“I’m blessed and thankful for the opportunity and I just can’t wait to get started.
“From the moment I heard that there was interest from Burnley, my heart and my head were set on the club.
“I’m so happy to be here now. It’s a dream for me.”
Foster could make his Clarets debut on Saturday when Vincent Kompany’s side travel to Portman Road to take on Ipswich in their FA Cup fourth-round clash.
