BLACKBURN want to sign Leeds hitman Joe Gelhardt for their promotion push.
Rovers are keen on a loan deal for the 20-year-old.
He may be allowed out after the FA Cup replay with Cardiff this week and he is eager to stay in the north.
Old club Wigan are dreaming of a return and Swansea fancy Gelhardt too — but the deciding factor in the chase will be game time.
He joined Leeds in 2020 from the Latics and this season has made 15 appearances in the Premier League.
However, he is yet to register a goal in the league and could benefit from a spell in the Championship.

Blackburn are also battling Blackpool for Bournemouth midfielder Gavin Kilkenny, 22, on loan.
Rovers right-back Jay Haddow, 18, is the focus of an international tug-of-war.
Haddow has played youth level for Japan as he qualifies through his mum but Scotland want him as he has grandparents from there.
Their promotion hopes took a knock today as they were thrashed by 19th placed Rotherham.
