MANCHESTER UNITED have beaten Burnley in the Carabao Cup thanks to Christian Eriksen and Marcus Rashford.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka pulled a delightful ball back across the box to find the Dane, who converted with style.
Rashford added a second with a fine solo effort, dribbling from the half-way line before converting from inside the box with a low shot.
The victory sees Erik ten Hag’s men into the hat for the next round.

Burnley certainly gave a good account of themselves, as the stats show, but it was ultimately a lack of quality in the final third that let them down tonight, with Ashley Barnes missing the target on a number of occasions.

The SunSport man of the match tonight has to go to Marcus Rashford.
Coming off the back of a personally brilliant World Cup campaign, many viewers are keen to see if Rashy can keep up his brilliant performances in a Manchester United shirt.

His goal was simply sublime, as he channeled his inner Leo Messi and drove with the ball from his own half before smashing a low shot into the bottom left corner.
