ANA MARIA MARKOVIC who has been dubbed the world’s most beautiful footballer has had her say on the Lionel Messi versus Cristiano Ronaldo debate.
The discussion over who is the greatest player of all-time has rumbled on throughout both legends’ careers with opinion split amongst fans.
But the Croatian has revealed who she thinks is better when asked on Twitter.
She replied with CR7’s name alongside a goat emoji. She also said “there’s only one number seven” despite herself wearing the number seven shirt.
This is not the first time she has spoken about her admiration for the 37-year-old former Manchester United star.
Markovic told 20Minuten previously: “My absolute favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo because he’s just so disciplined.

“I think it’s super important that you give your all in sport and have a good mindset like him.”
She also said that she admires fellow Croatian Luka Modric and from the women’s game Ramona Bachman.
Markovic, 23, rose to fame on social media thanks to her good looks and now has 1.4million followers on Instagram.
She plays as an attacker for Switzerland based side Grasshoppers and has expressed her desire to play in England saying she “would be most interested” in playing in the WSL.

On her ‘most beautiful’ tag Markovic said: “I liked the articles that called me the most beautiful footballer or one of the most beautiful because it makes me happy to hear that I am beautiful.
“But then newspaper articles appeared in which I was described as the sexiest footballer. I didn’t like that.
“A lot of people wrote to me pretending to be managers, and I know exactly what they want from me. They’ve never seen me play football and only look at the outside. I find that a great pity.
“I think such people should find out more beforehand and see what I can do in terms of football.”
