Man Utd fans demand club give Alejandro Garnacho mega new contract after 18-year-old scores winner at Fulham

MANCHESTER UNITED fans are ordering the club to tie young star Alejandro Garnacho to a new long-term contract after his late winner against Fulham.

Garnacho led United to a 2-1 victory at Craven Cottage with a last-gasp strike in the third minute of stoppage time after team-mate Christian Eriksen’s opener and Daniel James’ equaliser.

Fans are now demanding a lucrative new deal for the in-form youngster, who now counts two goals and two assists in his last five matches across all competitions.

The United faithful are even insisting on a pricey release clause that would make it impossible for their rivals to snatch him down the road.

One fan tweeted: “Give Garnacho a 10 year contract and £500k a week now. Don’t even care.”

Another posted: “For god sake please give Garnacho a 10 year contract and ensure there’s a £500m buy out in there. Don’t need [Real] Madrid sniffing around our next outstanding talent.”

A third commented: “I heard that Garnacho and United are in contract talks? Give the kid a lifetime contract.”

This fan said: “Say no more…..Can Manchester United give Garnacho 10 years contract? With a 5billion release clause.”

And that one stated: “Give Garnacho what ever contract he wants and get it signed.”

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated on Twitter that United are already working on a new and improved contract with Garnacho.

Romano claims that the Red Devils are trying to get the Argentina Under-20 international to put pen to paper “as soon as possible”.

Garnacho’s current deal runs out in June, which means the Manchester giants will have to act fast.
