RICKY HATTON shared a throwback picture of himself and Tyson Fury when they were both “not in best of places”.
The British boxing legend uploaded a photo from 2017 posing with Fury, who had a beer in hand.
Hatton captioned it: “Five years ago. Tyson Fury in Manchester. Not in the best of places at the time. Look at us now.”
Fury had been out of the ring for two years at that point, having fallen into depression after beating Wladimir Klitschko.
He ballooned up as much as TEN STONE in weight before embarking on one of sport’s greatest comeback journeys.
Fury actually used Hatton’s Manchester gym during the period and returned to the ring in 2018.

Hatton even cornered him the night he drew with Wilder in a world title challenge, which came on the same year he returned to the ring.
By 2020, Fury, 34, had knocked out American rival Wilder, 36, in their rematch to become heavyweight champion again.
Now Hatton, 43, is on a comeback trail of his own with a scheduled exhibition bout against Marco Antonio Barrera, 48, set for November.
The former two-weight champion has got himself in sensational shape following a dramatic body transformation.

Hatton was due to face Mexican icon in July until it was cancelled.
Now it has been rescheduled for November 12 with Natasha Jonas unifying her light-middleweight titles with Marie-Eve Dicaire.
