Smith Rowe, 22, came on from the bench after 74 minutes during the Gunners’ 3-1 loss to Manchester United and stayed for a practice session after the final whistle.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the attacking midfielder sustained an injury while working out with the rest of the substitutes.
It was added that the England international looked “distressed” as he was accompanied to the back by assistant coach Carlos Cuesta.
