MANCHESTER UNITED manager Erik ten Hag says Cristiano Ronaldo IS staying at Old Trafford.
The 37-year-old forward asked to leave the club earlier this summer – but remains a Red Devil with just one day left of the transfer window.
And Ten Hag today remained insistent that nothing will change before tomorrow’s 11pm deadline.
Speaking today, the Dutchman highlighted his need for a variety of forward options this season.
Then when asked if Ronaldo was part of his plans, he replied: “It is clear, of course. But I just said we need quality players.
“You need more to cover all the games to keep the consistency going, that is what we strive for.”
